Art Donations Needed - Upcycling

Hello Strom Families!

The Art Department is on the hunt for your trash (that’s right, we said trash!) to turn it into amazing student treasures!

Got some yogurt cups piling up? Cottage cheese containers gathering dust? Don’t toss them just yet! We would love to take them off your hands and turn them into something creative and awesome. Think of it as recycling with a twist—where trash becomes art = Upcycling.

If you have any recyclables or items you've been meaning to donate or discard, we are ready and excited to give them a second life! Drop off your goodies at the SRRMS main office. (Please clean/wash food containers before donating, thank you.)

We made a list below to give you some ideas of items that we can Upcyle:

Buckets or containers (ice cream, sour cream, yogurt, cottage cheese)

plastic bottles/lids 

Newspaper

Pringles cans / soup cans (art remix) with the pull tab lid preferred but will take any 

Stamps, yarn, string, ribbon, wire, buttons, sequins, etc.

Old CD's or Records

Cookie Cutters

Other odd objects for a found art sculpture of sorts!
